A hyperactive 15-year-old, everything Geextah does is, well, extreme; if he can’t do it extremely better or extremely bigger, he’ll at least do it extremely noisier than anyone else.
Excitable Geextah is always torn between a thousand different projects, a thousand desires and a thousand dreams; he never seems able to choose. Though he can be aggressive, nasty and full of venom, particularly to those authority figures who cross his path or amateur skiers who stand in the way of his snowboard, he still has his tender side.
Geextah’s friendship with Slax is the most important thing in the world to him. Although he would never admit it, when push does come to shove, Geextah would do almost anything for his best buddy…
Geextah will take matters into his own hands to impress someone -- whether it’s a famous athlete or a pretty girl. Geextah can be a real show-off, most times with disastrous results.
The bulk of his diet is big juicy cheeseburgers and French fries smothered in mountains of tabasco. He has a sweet tooth and always has a seemingly endless supply of candy, lollipops, jaw breakers…
Slax might seem soft or slow out of the blocks. But appearances can be deceiving. Granted, he’s timid, fundamentally good-hearted and naive. He’s always ready to help out if you ask him nicely, or even not so nicely. And he really can help.
Slax is afraid of losing his cap. Without it, he’ll lose his sense of direction, his sense of purpose and his identity. He becomes a shadow of his former self, a zombie; good for nothing…
Slax’s hobbies are naps, more naps and television. His speech can be limited, such as “yeah” or “nah” with every possible nuance to it. Only Slax can make “yeah” a multi-syllable word.
Slax will leap from the tallest bridge, slide down the steepest mountain or skate the side of a building…
J.T. or “Mr. Thrash Jr., to you” has the latest high-tech equipment and a superior attitude towards the Ducks. He can’t allow himself to lose his cool; but he does anyway. Vain, egocentric, highly competitive and willing to cheat, he’s out to beat the Ducks any and every way possible. “I don’t cheat. I compete. Creatively.”
J.T. is secretly obsessed with destroying the Ducks because they destroyed his beautiful head of hair. J.T. now wears a toupee as a result of that unfortunate episode and is very sensitive about his appearance.
J.T. doesn’t appear in every episode, but when he does he’s always against Geextah and Slax.
Ariel is an excellent athlete: skate, blade, ski, you name it. She’s a dervish on powder, asphalt and air. And she’s as good, if not better, than any male athlete. But she’s not participating to make a gender point - for her it’s all about the freedom to be the best, to win, and to do it your own way.
She occasionally turns up at various events as a competitor. Even though they compete with each other, she’s a friend of Geextah and Slax, and their rivalry is a friendly one: she likes and respects the Ducks, but she’s still a fierce competitor, determined to win.
She’s worshipped by both Geextah and Slax, each of whom compete for her attention. But she’s not interested in romance with either one of them - she sees them more as her goofy little brothers.
