- Episode 1 - WHAT IF IT’S NOT ME? - It’s not so easy to learn Santa’s job! Nicolas realises this and doubts whether he is up to this huge task. What if Santa simply made a mistake when he chose his successor? Nicolas’ doubts and worries increase to the point where he even wants to go back to Australia. On the way, Nicolas gets caught up in a giant snowstorm that leads him to discover who he really is and what he really wants.
- Episode 2 - NICOLAS’ PRESENT - Nicolas is depressed because he thinks that he’ll never receive Christmas presents anymore. In fact, Santa is preparing a surprise, but the present is an old-fashioned toy that Santa seems to have more fun with than Nicolas. When Santa starts spending all his time playing with it in Nicolas’ room, Nicolas doesn’t have the nerve to tell him he can keep it for himself.
- Episode 3 - A LONG NIGHT - Nicolas hears that the new Headmistress of his orphanage is tormenting his old friends. That night he goes to Australia to sort the situation out himself. The headmistress refuses to let him leave. She thinks he is a runaway and doesn’t believe his story about his so-called responsibilities as the future Santa.
- Episode 4 - HE DOESN’T EXIST - The manager of a toyshop launches a successful media campaign to make people believe that Santa doesn’t exist. Worried children no longer write letters and orders decline sharply. Kidnapped by Nicolas and brought before Santa, the stubborn manager still refuses to believe the obvious. Beatrice is the only one who is able to reconcile the manager with his childhood and Santa.
- Episode 5 - NOBODY IS PERFECT - Nicolas is confronted with a dangerous rival: Pierrot, the son of the Bogey Man. Pierrot uses all his powers of seduction and his fledgling talent as a magician to charm all of Nicolas’ entourage, including Santa! He wants to take Nicolas’ place and become the next Santa.
- Episode 6 - PLUMPED UP FOR CHRISTMAS - Nicolas doesn’t want to become as plump as previous Santas. He tries to persuade Santa that he would be much more efficient during his rounds if he ate less. Santa won’t listen… until the day he gets stuck in a chimney! Beatrice Lovejoy is now convinced: Santa must go on a diet. Santa uses several cunning plans to dodge the diet and continue to stuff himself in secret…
- Episode 7- SANTA’S WHIM - Santa wants to buy the fully automatic sleigh that belongs to a bullying baron who’s on safari at the North Pole. Like a child with a new toy, Santa won’t listen to Beatrice, who thinks the sleigh is too expensive, or Nicolas, who doesn’t want Randolph to be out of a job. Nicolas manages to unmask the so-called baron, a former circus lion tamer, who had set up this little swindle on Santa.
- Episode 8 - NICOLAS IN CHARGE - Santa and Beatrice go away on holiday, leaving Nicolas to manage the toy factory for a whole week! Nicolas is delighted but he’s soon disillusioned when he sees that the elves don’t have their hearts in their work. The fact is that, deprived of their daily morning kiss from Beatrice, they’re depressed.
- Episode 9 - THE GREATEST SECRET - How does Santa manage to deliver all his presents in one night? Santa refuses to let Nicolas in on this secret for the moment. Frustrated, Nicolas decides to discover the truth by himself. He finds a secret map indicating a mysterious place hidden somewhere on the ice-bank…
- Episode 10 - NEVER HAPPY - Elea, a spoiled little girl, says that she's not happy with her latest Christmas presents. If Nicolas doesn't find one that she really likes, she threatens to get her father who manufactures fireplaces, to market a model with no flue! When Nicolas falls out of the sleigh as it flies over New York, he finds himself trapped with Elea in one of these famous blocked chimneys. At the end of the adventure Elea realises that the present she really needs is a friend: Nicolas!
- Episode 11 - BLACK IS BLACK - During his chimney-climbing exam, Nicolas gets stuck and panics so much so that afterwards he gets giddy and comes out in a cold sweat just from looking at a chimney. If he can’t overcome his panic attacks, he will never be able to become Santa! However, an unexpected event that puts the factory in danger gives him the opportunity to cure himself.
- Episode 12 - GARLAND SPRAY - Recently, the ice-bank has been warming up, putting Santa’s Village in grave danger! Nicolas is sceptical about her identity. How did she get to the North Pole? Especially as Circella ferrets around everywhere and acts very strangely. Jealous, Beatrice Lovejoy also does everything she can to discredit the newcomer. However, the young schemer knows how to handle Santa, who is the only one not to see through her game!
- Episode 13 - THE SECRET DOOR - While Santa’s away, Nicolas perfects his Christmas laugh – different to the traditional one. By chance he discovers a secret door. Despite being told not to, he opens the door and lets out the Trubblies. These are elves that have gone a bit bonkers and break toys instead of making them. Santa is very cross when he gets back. Only the traditional Christmas laugh will solve things. Nicolas succeeds, but only by giving up the new laugh he thought was much better.
- Episode 14 - THE COUNCIL OF THE WISE MEN - Nicolas is old enough to take the test of the Golden Reindeer. In the middle of the night, he and Randolph have to set out on a search for a mysterious tree that only grows on the other side of the ice sea. From its branches he must weave his first Christmas basket, which will be examined by the Council of Wise Men, that is, all the previous Santas gathered together for the occasion. They will decide whether or not he qualifies for his Golden Reindeer.
- Episode 15 - STARDUST - Nicolas and Santa are collecting stardust from the aurora borealis. This rare and precious dust can create magic chimneys. Nicolas accidentally spills the magic dust, endangering Nic-Nac and Tim-Tim’s lives. He finds himself faced with a dilemma: does he use the remaining magic dust to save his friends or to enable children with no chimneys to have a happy Christmas? Luckily, Nicolas has more than one trick up his sleeve.
- Episode 16 - BLUSHING BEATRICE - Who is this mysterious Alexandra whom nobody knows, but who has been receiving letters? Who sneaks into the Factory at night to sew beautiful dresses? Nicolas and Humphrey investigate… and discover that Alexandra and the mysterious seamstress are one and the same person: Beatrice Lovejoy! She is afraid she will be left all alone when Santa retires and has decided to meet Prince Charming.
- Episode 17 - AND AFTERWARDS? - Worried that Santa might take early retirement, Nicolas finds a way of taking his mind off things – sorting old ‘letters to Santa’ in the attic. He discovers that for years an adult has been pretending to be a child and is still receiving toys. Nicolas decides to teach this impostor a lesson! However, a huge surprise awaits him…
- Episode 18 - SNOWED UNDER! - Nicolas is snowed under: between school, the Factory and his apprenticeship, he doesn’t have a moment to himself anymore. If only he had a magic wand to do everything! However, magic is only allowed on Christmas Eve. To test him, Santa gives Nicolas a magic formula without him knowing about it. Nicolas passes the test and gives up magic all by himself.
- Episode 19 -MEMORY OF CHRISTMAS - Engrossed in his favourite pastime, Santa is busy creating a new toy when his invention explodes in his face! Nicolas comes to the rescue and discovers that the shock has given Santa amnesia: he is now convinced he is eight years old! The days go by and Santa’s “absence” starts to have disastrous effects… Nevertheless, Nicolas does his absolute best to get Santa’s memory back.
- Episode 20 - SANTA'S FIANCEE - In the middle of a storm, Santa picks up Circella, a beautiful young woman, who is semiconscious. Nicolas is sceptical about her identity. How did she get to the North Pole? Especially as Circella ferrets around everywhere and acts very strangely. Jealous, Beatrice Lovejoy also does everything she can to discredit the newcomer. However, the young schemer knows how to handle Santa, who is the only one not to see through her game!
- Episode 21 - THE INFERNAL GOATSKIN - Nicolas unintentionally sets the snow monster free. At once, the dragon unleashes a ferocious storm. Santa, who has set off along the ice-bank to collect a delivery of spare parts, is trapped in the middle of the tornado. Thanks to his friends and his own courage, Nicolas manages to overpower the monster and save Santa…
- Episode 22 - THE MOBILE - Letters from young parents are pouring into Santa’s House, asking for the musical mobile Santa brought them when they were little. Nicolas is impressed by the success of this toy but surprisingly, Beatrice and Santa are categorical: it’s out of the question that they produce it again! Sensing that they are hiding something from him, Nicolas investigates.
- Episode 23 - THE OLD MAGICIAN - Maurice, the son of Santa’s best childhood friend, arrives at the North Pole. He’s an old magician who loves his job so much he won’t face the facts: his show doesn’t crack any ice and he’s too old to go on the stage. Santa hasn’t the heart to tell Maurice it’s time to hang up his wand! Nicolas is touched and disobeys Santa by giving the old magician a dash of Christmas magic. There are unexpected consequences…
- Episode 24 - ALL THOSE LITTLE DETAILS - Nicolas is keen to leave his ‘mark’ during his time as Santa and tests the idea of breathing new life into those little details that make Christmas traditional (trees, fairy lights, costume, etc). However, Santa takes him at his word and puts his ideas into practice. Nicolas is horrified to discover that without all those little details, Christmas is no longer really Christmas…
- Episode 25 - SANTA PLAYA CLUB - During a training session, Nicolas discovers he lacks the patience required to deal with the problems he might face later on. Luckily, Santa knows a little trick that will allow Nicolas to relax when he finds himself in difficulty. He just has to repeat ‘Why get sick with worry? A smile will work in a hurry!” However, that day, some tourists who are forced to land on the ice-bank think they have reached their holiday destination… and Nicolas, too relaxed, can’t make them see reason.
- Episode 26 - FATHER CHRISTMAS - What if Santa were Nicolas’ father? Nicolas firmly believes it. Santa chose him from amongst thousands of others: it’s a sign. And Santa loves him like a father. Finally, in Father Christmas, there is FATHER, so that means that Father Christmas is somebody’s father! Unfortunately, it’s only a sweet dream that Santa will have a great deal of trouble dispelling…
