Alastair Heath-Wilson is the son of the Secretary of state for education. A young, well-educated teen, he chooses to snub a privileged education and mingle with the kids from his new neighbourhood at Cliff Richard Jr. High, a low-rent school on the poor side of town. The series features a bunch of kids eager to remain united in spite of their (huge) differences. Alastair and his pals always try and push the system and never run out of funny ideas on how to improve their daily life, be it by suggesting a school outing, finding a way to lessen the weight of student book bags or even redrafting the school’s regulations. Bearing in mind the chronic lack of money at the school, the wacky teachers and the unrestrained behaviour of the students themselves, any new idea at Cliff Richard Jr. High takes an unexpected twist!! Fuelled by teen concerns, ZAP Jr. High is a slapstick comedy with a pinch of nonsensical humour.
