Mr Pierre Belaïsch : Managing Director

Pierre Belaïsch’s previous experience includes 10 years in advertising agencies (media strategy for brands such as Kellogg’s, Tropicana, Lancia cars, Milton Bradley, Weight Watchers...), Youth Programs Scheduling Director for TF1 (1996-1997), during the course of which he launched «TF!», TF1’s youth programming slots. As consultant for Canal +, he launched Minimax, the first polish kids channel, in 1998, the children’s channel available within the network’s digital polish plateformp, CYFRA +. After collaborating with Carat Expert, he joined the team at Canal J in August 1999 and redefined the channel’s programming strategies, bringing the channel its top rating in this category. As Deputy Managing Director for Canal J, he also launched TiJi, France’s number one TV channel for pre-schoolers (created in December 2000) and the teenager girls channel, Filles TV (launched in September 2004). He was one of the creator of Gulli, first and only free to air DTT french youth channel , in November 2005. In 2008, he added Virgin17 (free to air DTT channel), and MCM (music thematic cable and satellite channel) to his TV stations portfolio... In September 2010, he joined Gaumont Alphanim, as Managing Director, to redefine the studio strategy...

 

Mr Jean-Pierre Quenet : Deputy Managing Director, in charge of Productions and Administration

Jean-Pierre Quenet started his career in animation in London as assistant puppeteer on B.B.C.’s Special “The Nutckraker Suite” and then became film editor from 1980 to 1984 on commercials and special effects films. He then moved back to France as First Assistant Director to work on Gaumont’s first two animated theatrical features Astérix et la Surprise de César in 1985 and Astérix chez les Bretons in 1986 and on a number of animation series. In 1987, he joined forces with Paul and Gaetan Brizzi to run Brizzi Films, an animation production company acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 1989.

He then sucessively occcupied the position of Director of Operations and Managing Director at Walt Disney Animation France SA until 1999. During this period he also co produced for Disney’s TV Animation, the feature length films “Ducktales, The Treasure of the Lost Lamp” in 1990 and “The Goofy Movie” in 1994. 

He joined Alphanim in 2004 as Director of Operations to oversee and manage all aspect of productions. 

Appointed Deputy Managing Director in 2009, he is in charge of both the production and the administrative management of the company.

 

Mr Marc Dhrami : Head of financing and coproductions

Graduated from the Business School of Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marc DHRAMI, aged 40, started in animation in 1998 at the Studio Dargaud-Marina as Post-production Supervisor and then Head of Production. He joined Millimages in 2000 to organize and control the manufacturing of Millimages series in its outsourced exclusive partners or subsidiaries in Ukraine, Romania, Poland and India. Head of Productions on Millimages’ series and animated movies since 2005, he recently joined Alphanim as Head of financing and coproductions.

 

Mr Patrice Jouannin : Deputy Managing Director, in charge of Finance

Patrice Jouannin has spent his entire career in the animation industry. His career started in 1984 at France Animation, where he first held the position of accountant before becoming the company’s Finance Director in 1987. He left France Animation in 1997 to assist Davin in the creation of Alphanim, as Chief Financial Officer before being appointed Deputy Managing Director in May 2009.
